Hey Students,

Hope you had a restful & relaxing weekend. Guess what? You're off Tuesday - hip hip hooray!

Here's blog assignment #51 (which you have ALL week to work on)

1. FINISH writing your newspaper stories

2. Post them to your blog

3. Comment on EVERYONE else's stories on their page

4. Work on your yearbook pages (www.hjedesign.com)

5. Create a mock social media profile (a Facebook page). Here's what you need to do - create a real FB page for the person you are assigned, including profile pictures, photo albums, interests, birthday, schools attended, etc. After you create the page, have your person add me as a friend on FB. See below for who you are assigned:

Blog Assignment #45 (Dress down on Friday to hand out newspapers!)

Hey Journalism Students,

Before you start on this blog, the newspaper was just sent off to print (HOORAY!) We will be handing newspapers out THIS Friday at lunch. Danielle, the papers are coming in Thursday. It will be your responsibility to get them from Mrs. DeeDee and have the staff pass them out on Friday @ lunch. Everyone should meet Danielle outside of Sweetie's at the beginning of lunch (you will not be called out of class). Hand out newspapers at lunch AND bring them to the elementary TEACHERS to hand out to their students. Have fun and you may wear your newspaper t-shirts and jeans this Friday, Oct 22 (no holes in jeans - school rules still apply).

Hey Guys,

A few reminders: All blogs should be completed through #33 by Saturday.

1) Ad sales are due this Monday (Joey A. just informed me he's buying an AD but doesn't know from who yet - heads up! Just don't attack him to get the sale first) :) If it is a senior AD you are selling, I just need the AD size & money now...we'll collect their pictures later.

DID I MENTION THE TOP SELLER GETS A $50 CHECK????????????
